Great blog post. In fact, I've read most of your recent blog posts and they're quite fascinating. Thanks for opening up the doors into how Posse works and the money raising process. The parallels between studios/music and VC's/tech startups sounds uncanny - its a hit based business right? :)

nice post Rebekah all completely authentic and true. Entrepreneurs are the raw ingredients for the machine but at least the machine works. Australia should wake up. I am totally with you that the worst response from a VC is "intriguing...I'd like to track your progress", when really you want "you are crap because of X, Y, Z".

Still the most amazing thing about Palo Alto is stepping out of Coupa Cafe, skirting the homeless to ease into your Porsche Cayenne ;)

Good luck with it and hope you arn't staying in my old haunt Pacific (Camino) Inn Mountain View.

cheers and power.
