Entrepreneurs are the raw ingredients for the machine but at least the machine works. Australia should wake up. I am totally with you that the worst response from a VC is “intriguing…I’d like to track your progress”, when really you want “you are crap because of X, Y, Z”.

Still the most amazing thing about Palo Alto is stepping out of Coupa Cafe, skirting the homeless to ease into your Porsche Cayenne ;)

Good luck with it and hope you arn’t staying in my old haunt Pacific (Camino) Inn Mountain View.
